Early History Of Buddhism in Ceylon - The Book is divided into two parts. Part I forms a necessary introduction to Part II, and deals with the Pali Commentaries, their sources the nature of their contents. Part II, Consisting of ten chapters, id devoted to a consideration of the introduction of Buddhism to Ceylon, its spread there and the effects which the faith had upon the life of the inhabitants of the island.

History of Buddhism in Ceylon - This is the highly learned dissertation of the internationally renowned scholar monk of Sri Lanka (Ceylon) – Ven. Dr. Prof. Walpola Sri Rahula Thera – in which he deals in great detail with introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka, its subsequent development and its influence in the evolution of the culture and society of Sri Lanka.

"සෙල්ලිපි සමාජය" ප්‍රාචීන පණ්ඩිත අවසාන විභාගයේ දෙවැනි පත්‍රය සඳහා පරිශීලනය කලයුතු ග්‍රන්ථයක් මෙන් ම, වහල් මානසිකත්වයෙන් තොර අපේකම අපේ දෙය අගයන දැහැමි සමාජයක් කරා ගමන් කරන හැම කෙනෙකු විසින්ම කියවිය යුතු පොතකි..

The Glory Of Sanchi - The book titled " Glory Of Sanchi" was first published by the shell company of Ceylon in memory of 2500 years of Buddhism in 1956. All the copies were distributed and not a single copy was available after a few days.Thereafter Buddhist Cultural Centre of Dehiwala decided to edit and publisher with English translation.

This book written by the veteran journalist William peiris traces the inception  of Buddhism in the West taking place in Germany and its history and development therein culminating in the modern Buddhist scholarship. The pioneering roles played by all the German Buddhist scholars in the propagation of Buddhism find a place within these pages.
