Dependent Arising And the Transformation Of Social Problems

This insightful work by Bhikkhunī Dao Thi Lan skilfully draws on ancient Buddhist wisdom to illuminate contemporary social challenges. Through the lens of Dependent Arising, she develops a rich and practical framework for understanding the roots of poverty, crime, conflict, and racism. At the same time, she offers a hopeful, multi-layered roadmap for cultivating more compassionate societies, grounded in ethical development and relational responsibility across the spheres of family, education, and governance. Guided by deep wisdom and compassion, this book is essential reading for anyone seeking to understand how Buddhist teachings can meaningfully address the urgent issues of our time."
