This work clearly questioned the traditional narrative of Buddha's origin, suggesting that the Buddha never originated from what is known as modern-day India and clearly states that the Buddha's story as presented in the Mahavamsa might have been altered in order to cloud the historical figure originated in the Island linking him to neighboring India. The work re-evaluates the Buddha History by interpreting Sri Lankan inscriptions and artifacts as primary evidence for the Island's history. The textual prose of this work clearly criticize the generally accepted historical texts and their translations as narratives influenced by later Brahminical interpretations formulated to conceal the true origins of the Buddha and the early history of Sri Lanka and specific readings of inscriptions contained hidden or encoded meanings. This work strongly endorse on epigraphic readings from that period need to be re-evaluated with caution. Accordingly, this research is the reconceptualization of Buddha History and his doctrine that had been hidden for some unknown reason for centuries past and may fill the historical gap of Sri Lanka that had been the long-awaited moment of the Islanders in which was able to accomplish through this work.
