These stories are parabolic in their exhortations and full of insights into leading a life fully in accordance with the morality inculcated in Buddhism. There are 548 Jataka Stories in all. Earlier 217 of these Tales were published with the translator and editorship of Ken and Visakha Kawasaki. The 331 odd stories found in this three-volume treatise is published as a sequel to the above with the translator and editorship of Mr. Viranjeewa Weerakkody.
